NOTICE UNDER THE ELECTRICITY (COMPETITIVE TENDERS FOR OFFSHORE TRANSMISSION LICENCES) REGULATIONS 2010
This Notice is issued by the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (the ‘Authority’) pursuant to regulation 24(6) of the Electricity (Competitive Tenders for Offshore Transmission Licences) Regulations 2010 (the ‘Tender Regulations’).
In accordance with regulation 24(6) of the Tender Regulations, the Authority hereby gives notice that it has confirmed the determination made by the Authority on 28 October 2013 under regulation 23(2) of the Tender Regulations, to grant a transmission licence to Greater Gabbard OFTO plc of 350 Euston Road, London, NW1 3AX, which is the proposed licensee entity incorporated by the GET Balfour Beatty consortium (a consortium of Balfour Beatty Investments Limited, Equitix Limited and AMP Capital Investors Limited) of 350 Euston Road, London, NW1 3AX, the successful bidder in respect of the Greater Gabbard project.
