Proposed modification to the Funding Return Mechanism in the Network Innovation Competition and Low Carbon Networks Fund licence conditions

We have modified the NIC and LCNF licence conditions in accordance with section 11A(2) of the Electricity Act 1989 and under section 23(2) of the Gas Act 1986 to the relevant licence holders. The final licence drafting can be found in the decision Notices appended to the letter. See subsidiary documents below.

This decision has been made following our statutory consultation which closed on 25 October 2016.

We received six responses to our consultation. Non confidential responses have been published, on the statutory consultation page. Responses have been considered carefully in making our decision regarding the licence modifications.
