In November 2016, we announced a review into the price control treatment of National Grid Gas Transmission’s capacity obligation at the Fleetwood entry point to the National Transmission System (NTS). We consulted in March 2017 on the treatment of the capacity obligation and its price control funding. We decided to remove £277.5 million from NGGT’s allowance and reduce its capacity obligation.

Our decision has the purpose of achieving the most economic and efficient outcome for consumers.
