In November 2022, we consulted on detailed changes to the Electricity System Operator Reporting and Incentives (ESORI) Guidance document. This was to ensure the ESORI arrangements and guidance were revised appropriately to complement our Draft Determinations on the ESO’s second business plan and cycle (BP2) under the RIIO-2 price control.
We have reviewed the responses we received and have set out our decisions on the detailed aspects of the reporting requirements and performance measures for 2023-2025 for the finalised ESORI Guidance.
The ESO’s regulatory and incentives framework for BP2, including the updated ESORI Guidance, will come into effect from 1 April 2023.
