The Electricity Capacity Regulations 2014 (as amended) require us to provide the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy with an annual report on the operation of the Capacity Market.
This is the seventh such report on the operation of the Capacity Market. This report covers two Capacity Market Delivery Years: 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2021 and 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2022 (to date). Four CM Auctions were scheduled in this period:
2020/21 T-1 Auction (Delivery Year 2021/22), 2020/21 T-4 Auction (Delivery Year 2024/25), 2021/22 T-1 Auction (Delivery Year 2022/23), and 2021/22 T-4 Auction (Delivery Year 2025/26).
