Today we published information outlining Ofgem’s preparations for the UK’s EU Exit. This covers areas such as licences, REMIT regulation and interconnector operations as well as preparations undertaken by Code Administrators, and also how we’re supporting government.

Ofgem’s role is to work with Government and energy industry stakeholders to ensure our regulatory framework is fit-for-purpose and protects customers, whatever the arrangements are for the UK’s exit from the EU. Ofgem is not directly involved in the Government's EU Exit negotiations.
