Decision
Ofgem with the support of Network operators (NWOs), users of the regulatory accounts and stakeholders are developing a new form of regulatory reporting. The new set of accounts, which we propose to call RIIO Accounts, will reflect the performance of the NWOs in a regulatory context and within the existing price control regime.
It will replace the regulatory accounts currently prepared each regulatory financial year to the end of March. This letter is the beginning of consultation with all interested parties.
We appreciate your comments and would like to capture them in the feedback questionnaire attached to this letter in appendix 2.
This open letter consultation will stay open for six weeks closing on the 5 August 2015. We would like your responses to reach us by then
