P272 and P322, and Elective
We are continuing to work with ELEXON and the Performance Assurance Board to monitor suppliers’ performance in meeting their obligations under P272, and ensure the swift migration of outstanding sites.
The final elective HHS changes went live on 29 June 2017. This means that the full package of changes to enable cost-effective elective HHS is now in place. We are now continuing to monitor the implementation of elective HHS
Please note that responsibility within Ofgem for P272 and P322, and Elective have now been handed over to our Smart Metering team. Please address any future queries on these matter to the Smart Metering team at smartmetering@ofgem.gov.uk.
Settlement reform highlights
- Stakeholder Workshop: We ran a stakeholder workshop on Monday 30th October. Thank you to those of you who attended and participated in the discussion sessions.
- Target Operating Model: We have published our decision on the both the Design Working Group and the Design Advisory Board. Thank you to all stakeholders who expressed an interest in the being a member in either body. The first Design Working Group meeting was held in October and the first Design Advisory Board meeting will be held on 14 November. Meeting minute and materials will be published on the Ofgem website shortly after the Design Advisory Board meeting.

- Evidence Gathering:
- On Thursday 19th October we sent out a voluntary request for information (RFI) to inform a Privacy Impact Assessment on access to data for settlement. Please send responses to halfhourlysettlement@ofgem.gov.uk by 30th November 2017.
- Our voluntary RFIs, which we issued in August 2017 to help us gather evidence for the economic aspects of the Business Case and Supplier Agent Functions, closed on 29 September.
