This publication is for ECO2t measures installed on or after 1 April 2017.
Under the Energy Company Obligation (ECO2t) a wide range of energy efficiency measures can be installed. The measures table provides the measure type names that energy companies must use when they notify ECO2t measures, as well as some additional information for each measure.
ECO2t Measures Table
The ECO2t Measures Table provides information on eligible energy efficiency measures which suppliers can use to meet their obligations for measures installed from 1 April 2017 until 30 September 2018. The table includes the following information for each listed measure:
- measure category
- measure type
- eligibility under ECO2t obligations CERO and HHCRO
- in-use factor
- standard lifetime
- relevant PAS annex
- measure name: format for notification to Ofgem.
Additional information has also been provided for some measures. The list of measures is non-exhaustive.
Please note that the measure types listed are those which are present in the deemed scores matrix. District heating systems have also been included, but these must be scored with SAP/RdSAP. Other measures may qualify, subject to review by us on a case-by-case basis.
Some measures which were present in previous versions of the table have been removed as they do not have deemed scores. These measures are still eligible for ECO, and if suppliers wish to install these measures they should contact us. For more information on the process of applying for new scores or non-standard lifetimes, please consult our ECO2t Guidance: Delivery.
This document is a large .pdf file. As such we recommend you adjust your settings to A3 Landscape if printing. Please consider the environment if choosing to print the document.
Update 18th January 2018:
The measures table was updated to include a new measure type, and to clarify the relevant PAS annexes for some boiler installations.
