On June 7 the ELEXON-chaired Design Working Group published a consultation on the BSC website on its approach for transitioning from the current settlement arrangements to the preferred Target Operating Model (TOM) to enable market-wide half-hourly settlement. This consultation follows on from the publication and consultation of the DWG Preferred TOM report and gives stakeholders the opportunity to provide input.
Responses to the transition approach consultation close on 8 July 2019. Market-wide half-hourly settlement is a fundamental reform which will impact both existing and future participants. For this reason we would encourage all stakeholders to take the opportunity to look and respond to the consultation.
