Through December Ofgem will be hosting three workshops to discuss the Digitalisation Strategy and Action Plan (DSAP) guidance in further detail. The aim of the guidance is to help us ensure that there is transparency about the digital services that are available on the energy system and that upcoming service improvements are well planned and best meet the needs of consumers.

The sessions will be split over the three different themes emerging from the work: stakeholder engagement, vision, coordination and delivery, and measuring success. We expect to run these workshops as interactive sessions, with attendee’s contributing via digital tools to discuss the implications of the guidance and how all stakeholders can make the most of the content.

We intend to consult on this guidance alongside the Data Best Practice guidance in Q1 2021.

Where can I read the guidance?

We have published an early draft version the guidance on our Modernising Energy Data web page. This is a preliminary draft and will change and develop based on our feedback and engagement. We are publishing our progress early so we can ensure that we get as much input from our key stakeholders before the guidance is finalised.

I want to give feedback

Great, feedback improves what we deliver. To share your views on the guidance please write to us using ofgemdataservices@ofgem.gov.uk
