On 6 November 2018 we published our guidance on the process for requesting a derogation from the default tariff cap for renewable tariffs.
This letter sets out the decision to issue The Renewable Energy Company Limited (Ecotricity), a temporary and limited derogation from certain elements of standard licence condition 28AD of its gas and electricity supply licences for certain tariffs. The derogation will enable the Licensee to charge above the rates set by the default tariff cap for the Standard Variable Tariffs (“SVTs”) for which it applied for a derogation for (the “Relevant Tariffs”).
