Strategic Innovation Fund Funding Direction 2025 to 2026

The Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) supports innovation across Great Britain's gas and electricity networks. Under SIF governance arrangements, completed Beta projects are subject to a final funding reconciliation to confirm approved expenditure and eligible funding. These directions set out the agreed funding position for projects that closed during the 2025 to 2026 financial year. The figures have been prepared and validated by Innovate UK on behalf of Ofgem and agreed with the relevant funding parties. Where applicable, the directions identify any funding adjustments or recovery required following project closure.
