The Guaranteed Standards of Performance (GSOP) payments specify what an electricity distribution network operator must pay a customer or relevant authority if they fail to meet specified standards of performance.
Details
This guidance specifies the GSOP payment amounts for the regulatory year 2026 to 2027. These are calculated by adjusting the values on or after 1 April 2025 by the percentage change in the Consumer Prices Index including owner occupiers’ housing costs (CPIH) published for the month of January. Distribution network licensees must put these into place by 1 April 2026. The payment amounts are updated each year to reflect inflation.
