The European Forums take place in Florence and Madrid twice a year.
The Gas Regulatory Forum (Madrid) seeks to create a functioning gas market within the internal market of the EU. It was established by the European Commission, in collaboration with regulators and others, in 1999.
Participants of the European Forums include National Regulatory Authorities, Member States, the European Commission, transmission System Operators, gas traders, consumers, network users and power exchanges.
