Here you can access guidance and information on the legislative provisions of the ECO2 Order and how we administer the scheme.
The documents below apply to all measures installed on or after 1 April 2015. Any measures installed prior to this date should comply with our previous guidance.
|ECO2 2015-2017 Guidance: Administration||1 April 2015|
|ECO2 2015-2017 Guidance: Delivery||1 April 2015|
What our guidance does
It covers the three ECO obligations, outlining:
which energy suppliers are obligated under the scheme
how they can meet their obligations
when and what they need to report on, and
- information on ECO measures.
What it doesn’t do
It’s not intended as a definitive guide to the legislative provisions of The Electricity and Gas (Energy Company Obligation) Order 2014 (ECO2 Order).
Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that they, and any members of the supply chain acting on their behalf, comply with the applicable requirements of the law.
