Approval of the modified Access Rules for the Eleclink interconnector

On 16 February 2026, Eleclink Limited (“Eleclink”) submitted its modified Access Rules for the Eleclink interconnector to the Authority for approval. The Access Rules set out the terms and conditions for access to, and use of, the interconnector, and were submitted pursuant to Standard Licence Condition (SLC) 11A of Eleclink’s Electricity Interconnector Licence.

We have decided to approve the modified Access Rules on the basis that we are satisfied they meet the relevant objectives under Eleclink’s Electricity Interconnector Licence.

This letter sets out our decision to approve the Access Rules submitted by Eleclink on 16 February 2026, including a Direction approving the modified Access Rules.
