Actions to improve the transparency of energy company profits

This letter presents the actions that we and the companies will take to make the information more robust, useful and accessible. There are a set of actions which will commence immediately. Work has commenced to ensure there is greater transparency over the 2013 statements when they are published in the coming months. A further suite of improvements is required for the 2014 statements, which will be published next year.
