Decision:
As part of the RIIO-2 price control, network companies can apply for additional allowances via the Net Zero Pre Construction and Small Net Zero Projects (NZASP) Re-opener uncertainty mechanism.
In August 2024, we received an application from Northern Gas Networks (NGN) requesting additional allowances for its Birkshall Rationalisation and Relocation Works project.
We are now consulting on our draft determination and draft direction for this application.
