Proposed annual reporting framework for the onshore Electricity Transmission sector for the RIIO-3 price control period.
Consultation description
We are consulting on updates for the RIIO‑ET3 period (2026 to 2031) to the:
- Regulatory Instructions and Guidance (RIGs)
- Regulatory reporting pack (RRP) data template
- Transmission glossary
- NARM reporting pack
These explain how companies report cost, output and performance data to Ofgem.
The proposals aim to:
- improve the clarity, consistency and comparability of reporting
- align requirements with RIIO‑ET3 decisions
- support effective regulatory monitoring
Proposals have been informed by:
- RIIO-ET3 business plan template assessment
- data review
- stakeholder engagement
