Seeking stakeholder views on whether the Capacity Market Advisory Group remains effective, well-governed and fit for future challenges.
Call for input description
The Capacity Market Advisory Group (CMAG) was established to make the Capacity Market Rules change process more dynamic, adaptive and transparent by providing an industry forum to develop, scrutinise and prioritise proposals for improving the rules.
As part of its annual review of CMAG, Ofgem is seeking views on whether the group continues to meet its objectives, whether its governance arrangements remain fit for purpose and how it should evolve to meet future needs.
The review is structured around three themes:
Whether CMAG is meeting its objectives and providing value to stakeholders.
Whether the current Terms of Reference and Operating Procedures remain appropriate.
How CMAG should develop to support future stakeholder engagement and industry needs.
Responses will help inform Ofgem's assessment of CMAG and any future changes to its operation, governance arrangements or role.
Who should respond
- Current CMAG Members
- Capacity Market Participants
- Previous Change Proposers
- Capacity Market Administrative Parties
- Other organisations involved in Capacity Market governance and operation
