Our approval of the System Management Principles Statement (SMPS) revision proposed by National Gas Transmission plc (NGT).
Details of outcome
We have decided to approve the proposed statement, which will go into effect from 1 April 2026.
Compliance case description
NGT presented their revised System Management Principles Statement to us on 23 February 2026, along with the consultation report and the responses, as required by Special Condition 9.19 of the Gas Transporter Licence.
The proposed SMSP has only minor changes from the version currently in place, limited to formatting and grammatical edits, along with updates to webpages and names where required.
