The Renewables Obligation (RO) requires operators of biomass stations with >50kW declared net capacity to submit information annually on the sustainability characteristics of their fuel. The template provided below must be used by operators to submit this information to us. This template also includes the data tables required for the annual sustainability report.
Profiling data must be submitted for each consignment of biomass used in the obligation period and the information provided should be to the best of the operator’s knowledge and belief. Information on how this template operates in on the first tab of the spreadsheet.
Operators should provide this information to us, via email, by the following deadlines:
- Bioliquid fuels: 31 May immediately after the end of the obligation period which it covers.
- Solid biomass or biogas fuels: 30 June immediately after the end of the obligation period which it covers.
- Mixture of bioliquid and solid biomass and/or biogas fuels: 31 May immediately after the end of the obligation period which it covers.
