We have decided to reject R0216.
Code modification description
The proposal was raised by the Retail Energy Code (REC) to develop a solution for Pre-Notifications of Planned Supply De-Energisations. This issue was originally raised under the Distribution and Charging Use of System Agreement as modification DCP419, however a solution was developed under the REC as the lead code.
This modification aimed to establish clear requirements and procedures for informing Distribution Network Owners in advance of any planned supply interruptions to a consumer’s smart meter, thereby ensuring greater transparency and coordination within the energy market.
