At the time of developing the Retail Market Review proposals, we committed to review the practice of automatic renewal of contracts in the non-domestic retail energy market.
This document sets out the findings of our review and our proposals. The proposals aim to improve protections for businesses when they renew an energy contract by improving the clarity of information provided by suppliers and bringing more consistency to the renewal process.
