Enforcement overview 2015/16

In 2015 we published our first annual Enforcement Overview, as a means of improving transparency around our enforcement activities. We think this has been an effective tool to show the impact and efficiency of our enforcement work, in line with our enforcement vision: that businesses put energy consumers first and act in line with their obligations.
We have now published this, our second annual Enforcement Overview, for the financial year April 2015 to March 2016.
It provides an overview of:
- Investigations opened and other enforcement activities
- Completed investigations and performance
- Penalties and other remedial activity (including how consumers have benefitted from redress schemes set following our enforcement investigations)
- Enforcement priorities, current portfolio and other work
