In August we issued a consultation and asked for views on the draft Electricity System Operator (ESO) Regulatory Instructions and Guidance (RIGs) and reporting templates for 2021/22 annual reporting. The consultation ended on 28 September 2021.
We are now publishing the modified RIGs alongside this decision. These modifications are made for the purpose of streamlining and updating the reporting requirements for the ESO's RIIO-2 price control framework. The modified RIGs take effect on and from 1 April 2021. For the avoidance of doubt, this means that the data submitted on or before 31 July 2022 (in respect of the 2021-22 reporting year) should comply with the RIGs as modified.
