The next round of price controls (RIIO-ED2) for the electricity Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) will begin in April 2023, and will run until March 2028. As part of this process we will set outputs and incentives on the service that DNOs provide.
In 2021, we published a decision on our approach to reviewing the level of competition in the electricity distribution connections market. In November 2021, we invited DNOs to provide data to inform the next stage of the review.
This document consults on the findings of our assessment of the data submissions. We are now inviting views from all interested stakeholders.
The closing date for responses is 20 May 2022. Responses should be sent to RIIOED2@ofgem.gov.uk.
