In December 2022 we published our Decision to introduce a new Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) framework to both assess and fund large strategic onshore electricity transmission projects and incentivise the timely delivery of these projects.
This informal consultation sets out the proposed changes to the electricity transmission owner's RIIO-ET2 licence conditions required to implement our ASTI Decision.
