This is a draft set of data templates and associated instructions and guidance for gas and electricity transmission and gas distribution network companies to use when submitting draft RIIO-2 Business Plans for the July and October submissions. Specific documents are outlined for each sector below.
We expect that the draft templates will be populated fully (see the RIIO-2 Challenge Group Priorities and work plan, Section 4). In a small number of cases, we understand that some information we are asking for in Business Plan data templates may not yet be available to provide in a 1 July draft submission to the RIIO-2 Challenge Group, for example historical data that cannot be restated in the requested manner. We are engaging with network companies to understand when this information will be available for submission. If information is incomplete at submission, we expect to be informed of the reasons why, and when this will be remedied.
We will consult further on the draft set of documents through RIIO-2 working groups and may update this page with revised versions of draft documents. We may also publish an open consultation on them in summer 2019. For more information on our working groups, please see here.
We intend to publish the final versions of data templates and associated instructions and guidance in September 2019. This will be for gas and electricity transmission and gas distribution network companies to use when submitting final RIIO-2 Business Plans in December.
