Following engagement with some market participants regarding certain actions in the GB wholesale energy markets, we have prepared this open letter to make our views on this behaviour more broadly known. This letter covers:
- behaviour that may constitute market manipulation
- market participants' duty to publish inside information effectively
- upcoming deadlines for REMIT registration and transaction reporting, and
- the importance of complying with obligations under the European Transparency Regulation.
