distributed generation, of which there were 42. It proposes changes to the regulatoryregime that would be of benefit to potential distributed generators and that can beeffected before the implementation of the next distribution price control, in April 2005.

Responses were overwhelmingly against the reopening or early termination of theexisting price controls.

The document identifies a number of workstreams that need tostart before the next distribution price control review (2002/03), and explains whichissues will have to await consideration in that review. Finally, this document points tosome non-regulatory problems affecting distributed generation that may have to beaddressed by other organisations.
