For the past five years, Ofgem has run an annual survey to track engagement in the domestic energy market. This report presents the results of the 2018 survey.

For the past two years, the survey has been conducted by GFK on behalf of Ofgem. In 2018 we spoke to just over 4000 consumers. The survey covers a wide range of topics including consumer switching and comparison behaviour, attitudes towards the energy market, perceptions about the market and suppliers and consumer outcomes.
