Our annual window for accepting change proposals to the Capacity Market (CM) Rules closed on 11 November 2016.

We received 75 proposals, which can now be viewed in detail in our search tool: Capacity Market Rules Change Proposals. We have also provided a a brief summary of the proposals below.

Our search tool allows you to filter the proposals by date, organisation, area and reference number. This year's proposals are numbered from CP162 to CP236. If you have any questions or feedback on the search tool then please get in touch.

What happens now?

We are now analysing the proposals we've received and will consult on our proposed decisions and draft Rules changes in Spring 2017. Where we have identified changes should be made in this round, following consultation, those amendments to the Rules will be in force ahead of the 2017 Prequalification round.

However, we may decide it is appropriate to delay the implementation of some Rules amendments. Any proposals submitted after the 11 November 2016 will be held for later consideration, before the 2018 Prequalification round, unless they are considered urgent.

You can find out about how we manage changes to the Rules and download the change proposal form on our CM Rules change process guidance page.
