Urgency granted for CMP444: Introducing a cap and floor to wider generation TNUoS charges

CUSC Modification Proposal CMP444 was raised on 21 October 2024 by the National Energy System Operator (NESO). The proposed modification seeks to seeks to introduce a temporary cap and floor mechanism to wider generation TNUoS (Transmission Network Use of System) charges, to reduce investment uncertainty for generators and developers.
On 25 October 2024, the proposer requested that the proposal be treated as urgent based on Ofgem’s urgency criteria. We have granted this request.
