NGESO (the ‘Proposer’) raised CMP377 on 15 July 2021 to provide clarity on how the BSUoS charging methodology is described in Section 14 of the CUSC. The four areas being addressed are: Covid-19 cost recovery calculations, capitalisation of defined terms in CMP373 legal text, clarifying storage import terminology and general housekeeping. The proposed solution is to update Section 14 of the CUSC to bring clarity to these issues without altering their intent as agreed in the reference CUSC mods.
We have considered the issues raised by the modification proposal and the final Modification Report (FMR) dated 06 October 2021. We have considered and taken into account the responses to the industry consultation(s) on the modification proposal which are attached to the FMR.
In accordance with Standard Condition C10 of the Transmission Licence, the Authority, hereby directs that modification proposal CMP 377: “Clarification of Section 14 BSUoS Charging Methodology” be made.
