We are consulting on Ofgem’s minded-to position to approve a code modification (CMP470), which will introduce an Oversubscribed Technologies Commitment Fee (OTCF).

Consultation description

The CMP470 code modification aims to introduce an Oversubscribed Technologies Commitment Fee (OTCF), a financial measure intended to increase the need for in-queue projects, of technologies whose capacity in the connections queue materially exceeds the relevant government generation capacity target, to demonstrate commitment.

The attached consultation document explains why we are minded-to approve the original proposal. The attached Initial Impact Assessment provides the analysis that helped develop our minded-to position.
