We are committed to engaging with a wide range of stakeholders on our work in a transparent and open manner.

Consumer research

We engage with consumer organisations, consumers through forums such as our Consumer First Panel, the energy industry, environmental groups, government and the City.

Stakeholder engagement

We have an ongoing and extensive programme of stakeholder engagement. This includes running working groups, holding events, publishing documents such as newsletters, attending and speaking at conferences and through social media, including LinkedIn and Twitter

Consultation

Consultation is an essential part of stakeholder engagement. We consult when developing policy to improve the quality of our decision making. It facilitates industry planning and prioritisation, builds understanding of our work and enables progression towards consensual solutions that protect the interests of existing and future consumers.
