We are committed to engaging with a wide range of stakeholders on our work in a transparent and open manner.
We engage with consumer organisations, consumers through forums such as our Consumer First Panel, the energy industry, environmental groups, government and the City.
We have an ongoing and extensive programme of stakeholder engagement. This includes running working groups, holding events, publishing documents such as newsletters, attending and speaking at conferences and through social media, including LinkedIn and Twitter.

Please note that all requests to speak must now come via the Ofgem Speaker Request Portal. This speaker request process is the formal channel for considering Ofgem's external speaking engagements. You should include as much detail as possible to ensure your request is appropriately considered. We aim to get a decision back to you as soon as possible.
If you have any queries relating to speaker requests, please email Stakeholders@ofgem.gov.uk.
Consultation is an essential part of stakeholder engagement. We consult when developing policy to improve the quality of our decision making. It facilitates industry planning and prioritisation, builds understanding of our work and enables progression towards consensual solutions that protect the interests of existing and future consumers.
Find our consultation policy and upcoming, open and closed consultations in our Consultations section.
