This is our decision to modify NGG’s Gas Transporter licence. It is to allow NGG to recover operational expenditure incurred by Scotia Gas Networks, in relation to supplying gas to the Statutory Independent Undertakings, for the winter of 2012/13.

We are publishing our decision, in accordance with the powers contained in 23(1)(a) of the Gas Act 1986, to make a modification to special condition 11F of National Grid Gas Plc’s Gas Transporter Licence.

This follows a statutory consultation on the proposed licence changes which we published on 12 June 2014.

The modifications will take effect on 22 September 2014.
