The draft version of the ECO4 Guidance: New Measures and Products (NMAP) allows stakeholders to review our proposed administration of applications and measures notified under the ‘New Measures and Products’ routes on ECO4, as provided for by the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) 2022 Order. These are the Innovation Measure, Standard Alternative Methodology, and Data light Measure routes. This guidance is additional to the ECO4 Guidance: Supplier Administration and ECO4 Guidance: Delivery and should be read in conjunction with those guidance documents. You may provide suggestions for changes or improvements to this draft guidance during a four-week review period from 4 July 2022.
We are interested in getting comments on:
- The overall tone and content of this guidance, including whether it is easy to read and understand.
- Any areas where the document could be more user friendly.
- The application forms for the Innovation Measure, Standard Alternative Methodology, and Data light Measure routes.
This draft guidance for comment is published alongside our ECO4 Administration consultation.
You can provide feedback on this guidance as part of your feedback to our consultation. The ECO4 Administration consultation closes for responses on 18 July 2022.
If you would like to provide feedback on this guidance separately, please do so by sending your comments to ECO@ofgem.gov.uk by 4 August 2022.
We have published this guidance in draft to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to comment and expect to publish a final version in autumn 2022, which may include changes from the draft version.
