National Grid and industry has developed proposals which would change the way that the need for incremental capacity was signalled.
If we were to approve National Grid Gas Transmission’s (NGGT’s) proposed changes to the industry code (UNC) for Planning and Advanced Reservation of Capacity Agreements (PARCA), we would need to make related policy and licence changes for them to work.
We explain what those proposed changes are in this letter. We have included draft licence text to show the changes to NGGT’s gas transporter licence that would be needed to facilitate PARCAs.
