This step-by-step guide will help you to submit an application for accreditation under the Northern Ireland Renewables Obligation (NIRO) scheme for your MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) certified solar photovoltaic (PV) or wind installation.
On 7 June 2015 this document was updated to reflect the new streamlined question flow for applicants.
On 14 February 2017 this document was updated to reflect the closure of the NIRO scheme to new generating capacity on 31 March 2017.
