We published our initial consultation on implementing the Competition and Markets Authority's (CMA) recommendations for industry code governance in November 2016.
We sought views on what the scope of the new regulatory framework should be and how we should transition to it.
The initial consultation also set out initial proposals for our strategic direction for codes, the consultative board and the licensing of code managers. We received 41 responses in total. This open letter summarises the replies received and sets out our next steps in terms of policy development.
