Security and Quality of Supply Standard (SQSS) GSR008-1: Regional Variations and Wider Issues

This letter sets out our decision to approve the SQSS modification GSR008-1 which implements changes to the onshore transmission network chapters of the SQSS. These changes will take effect three months after Authority decision. In order for these changes to take effect the transmission licences will need to be modified such that they refer to the new version of the NETS SQSS which will also consist of text changes reflecting the Authority's decision. The Authoity will issue a licence modification notice ('Section 11A notice') in the coming weeks following statutory licence change consultation.
