Ofgem held a seminar for market participants and stakeholders on REMIT on the morning of Monday 1 December. We provided delegates with:
- an overview of REMIT
- an explanation of the REMIT registration process in GB
- an ACER led briefing on transaction and fundamental data reporting
- insight into Ofgem’s role in REMIT, including an overview of our monitoring, enforcement and compliance work
- compliance with REMIT, including an overview of the REMIT prohibitions and obligations on market participants and persons professionally arranging transactions.
The seminar also gave stakeholders the opportunity to ask questions on these topics. The presentation slides are attached below.
