On 24 April 2014 we published our decision not to veto a number of modifications to National Grid Gas Distribution's (NGGD) connection charging methodology. On 12 May 2014, we consulted on National Grid’s proposal to change the conditions when an Advanced Reservation Capacity Agreement (ARCA) is required, given the potential impact on other parties.

After reviewing the responses, we are satisfied that the modifications to NGGD’s Connection Charging Methodology are necessary for the purpose of better achieving the relevant objectives.
