We have made some improvements to the Ofgem.gov.uk website that should help make it much easier for you to find information about the environmental schemes and consumer and social programmes we administer, such as the Feed-in Tariff and the Renewable Heat Incentive. These improvements are:

Dedicated publications libraries

We have published dedicated publications libraries for a number of schemes (these are listed and linked below). You can use the publications library to view lists of all publications for a scheme by year and by the information type (for example, “guidance”, “consultation”, “reports” and so on). Just select your choice from the drop-down lists and click the “Apply” button.

New publications libraries:

The current year and all information types are selected by default. Change your selection and click Apply to see your preferred listing:

More detailed filtering of search results

If you use the website search function, you can then filter your results by a range of factors including date, information type and policy area. Within the “policy area” filter, you can now filter your results down to a specific scheme as follows:

Step 1

When you have performed your search, click on “show” within the Policy area(s) button on the left-hand side of the screen.

Step 2

Under Environmental programmes, click the environmental scheme or schemes that you are interested in.

Step 3

Click the “Apply filters” button at the bottom left of the screen. Your results will now be filtered to show only items belonging to your selected scheme(s).

Example: a search for the word “tariff” initially produces more than 300 results. Applying the filter for the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme reduces results to a much more manageable 22 items:

We hope you find these new functions useful when looking for scheme information.
