On 26 June 2019, we published a statutory consultation on a proposal to modify Special Condition 4C (Balancing Services Activity Revenue Restriction on External Costs) of the electricity transmission licence held by the National Grid Electricity System Operator Limited.
We received six responses.
Following consideration of those responses, we have decided to modify Special Condition 4C to allow the NGESO to reconcile any differences through adjustments to BSUoS charges in Relevant Year t+1. This licence change will take effect from 04 October 2019.
