Decision on close out methodologies for the DPCR5 Price Control

Decision

The fifth electricity distribution price control (DPCR5) ran from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2015. There are a number of mechanisms which could not be settled until the price control had ended, and we committed to developing methodologies for closing these out at a later stage. These are the Network Output Measures relating to asset health, loading and fault rates, load-related expenditure, High Value Projects, the Traffic Management Act and Flood Prevention. In September 2015 and December 2015 we consulted on our proposed approach and draft methodologies.

This document sets out our methodology decisions following these consultations.

The final versions of these methodologies will be included in the Financial Handbook. We have published the Statutory Consultation on the Handbook changes alongside this decision.
