Ofgem commissioned Ipsos MORI to conduct a face-to-face survey representative of the population of Great Britain aged 15+. The objective of the research was to provide an up-to-date understanding of consumer engagement with the GB energy market, including switching rates, engagement with bills and other communications, and trust in energy suppliers.

Where possible, this report includes year-on-year comparisons with the previous surveys in March 2014, March 2013, March 2012, and January 2011, though there are some questionnaire changes during that period. There have been no substantive changes to the questionnaire since March 2013.

The full data tables which accompany the 2015 report have been included below, but are also published on a separate part of the Ofgem website where all datasets associated with our consumer research are presented together.
